I wanted to get a view of the river and its bridges on the east side of the city so I walked down Calle de la Paz (and the Museo/Alcazar) then went north to the Museo de Santa Cruz. From there, I passed the Convento de Concepcion and walked down some steep stairs to gain a view of the river. I could see the Puente de Alcantara and the Castillo de San Servando from a parking lot there but I couldn't really see the river so I retraced a few steps and headed down Calle Miguel de Cervantes.
